Where required, the service can include an RSX GPU swap, replacing the original 90nm processor with a lower-power 65nm or 40nm variant to improve reliability and reduce heat output.

Each console is fully inspected, rebuilt, and tested to ensure stability before completion.

How the process works

5. Console is rebuilt, tested, and returned

Diagnostic and bench fee

A diagnostic inspection is required before repair work begins. A bench fee applies and is credited toward the service cost if you proceed. If the repair does not go ahead, the console is returned in its assessed condition.

Turnaround time

Typical turnaround time is 2–3 weeks, depending on repair scope.

Warranty and shipping

Warranty: 6 months workmanship warranty on all completed units.

Shipping: Customers are responsible for inbound and return shipping within New Zealand.
